Fritz Krauskopf (Königsberg) established his first studio in Cranz in 1908 and later worked in Königsberg. He photographed children, interiors, local life, and East Prussian towns. Many postcards were created based on his motifs. He became especially famous in 1944 for capturing Königsberg in flames after the air raids and documenting the daily life of its residents among the ruins.
