100 years of history

Elise Becker (Eitkūnai) – a regional publishing house and printing shop active around 1905, specializing in illustrated postcards. It mainly issued hand-colored postcard series depicting local scenes, including the surroundings of Eydtkuhnen, the railway station in Wirballen, and the customs house in Kybartai. The postcards were distributed locally and reflected everyday life in the border region.
